Patrolmen Caleb Loe of the Prescott Police Department was one of 41 Officers who participated in Basic Police Training Class 2012-C at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in East Camden, Arkansas.  Graduation ceremonies were conducted September 28, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the SAU Tech Ross Center.  Chief Russell and Staff want to Welcome Officer Caleb Loe to the Department. ​

September 27, 2012

  On 9/26/2012, Officers with the Union Pacific Railroad in cooperation with the Prescott City Police Department conducted a Railroad Safety Enforcement Operation along the tracks in the City of Prescott.  The operation is designed to increase safety awareness and help educate the public through enforcement of people committing violations at the railroad grade crossings, or (running th gates).  Approximately, 7 citizens were given a brief lesson after being observed either running the crossing gates in front of the train, or not yielding to the flashing red lights prior to the gates being lowered.

  The following railroad statistics were provided by Senior Special Agent John L Schumacher, Public Safety Officer with Union Pacific Railroad.
